Pine Grove Skate Demo

A late invite but this Saturday at the Pine Grove Day Camp we are invited to skate with the kids in memory of kevin clawson and graeme preston. Yesterday after filming and work, Kelsey and I stopped over the guys house thats organizing the skate day and the nutty backyard ramps and rails he built. What makes this stuff really interesting it was all stuff from around his yard and house that he decided to say "hey I can build something out of this".

There will be food and bands playing so head on out and have some fun.

Maloof Finals

Well heres how we started driving up to Secaucus to catch the train to Penn Station. Surprisingly everything went smooth catching trains and getting to the event with occasional trying not to burst out laughing at every sleeping bum or tapping random people on the shoulder. Nothing to say that you probably havent seen on TV from the contest other than we saw the best skateboarding in the world and my brain could not handle it. So here is our little day trip in Queens.










Safe to say this contest should return next year and we will be doing this all over again, minus the down pour of rain in the final seconds of the last jam!

Weird weather, MTV shoot and Black kids on Scooters??

The only thing missing is my new flash and thats a must ASAP! I have some things planned that kinda requires a flash so I think Im gunna go all out get the flash i want and start working toward some nice wireless transmitters. But I do always keep saying that Im going to upgrade my camera body so who knows.

MTV has gotten a hold of Kelsey and they want us to go there to shoot some intro to a urban style show they have coming out. Ill have the details very very soon!

Lets just say this kid wanted to autograph my forehead with his fist and his buddy wanted to stab Kelsey and Matt. Im genuinely afraid to go back to Woodbridge skatepark.

Yurp

Hey so its been awhile but things have been busy lately. Ive been skatin/filming a lot lately and getting some new camera stuff. Im changing up how im going to do things on this, less talking and more photos with captions also new site this summer so Im pretty excited. Well heres whats been going on recently.

Mo has been skating a lot lately me and him are looking forward to skating this summer and playing golf. Also look for Mo in the Liberation vid.

Kelsey has been tearing up the business these past few weeks! Thanks to this guy Liberation is spreading fast.
Scary ass storm rolled in last night but now we are looking at a great Memorial Day weekend.

We have a "SITUATION"

Indianapolis........over and out! Katie and I had a great time. Photo of above was shot from our room, possibly my best trip out to Indy since I started going back in 98'. It feels like Ive been editing since sunday and really I have but, I also had a Photoshop problem when I was working on Katies photos.

Sorry about the lack of updates but, with this this weather here in NJ, I have really been less than excited to even go outside. A lot of driving around with work and then I couldnt reach my deadline to sell my bike and get my lens so I was forced to rent a 70-200. After waiting through shipping delays because of our blizzard it finally showed up 3 days before our flight.

Racing was great, Food was great and had a great time using the lens! And after everything getting the lens, the snow, the race, we run into this guy below......"the situation". After seeing Justin Brayton by us and some other dudes here comes the situation and he is as big of a tool as he is on the show so the positive thing is hes not fake haha.



View from the top and it is scary up there. Going up there and was like a hike, way different then the RCA dome (RIP). Very excited about going out to see this thing done after seeing it be built for the last few years.


In other news I have my schedule laid out for mine and Katies year. She's going to be helping me out a lot this year and hopefully we can both build up and have more for 2011. I have a few plans that are arriving and it looks like Ill be at Mototown USA March 13th for their race. More details to come.
As for this, Mo came up with a great idea for Liberation Skateboards and made a Skin It. He did make a better one but I like these designs and well order them.

New Plans!

So I have some subscriptions running out soon like this .com but, I will be getting it again and continuing. The biggest thing is that Im making a new site with homepage, contact, portfolio, blog, galleries and more. I really want a nice clean, professional look and I think I have it all ready to go and start working on it.

Latest news, still dealing with my heal and still trying to get my new lens!?!?! It will happen eventually but, I absolutely need to have it by March. In a perfect world, I would love to have it by Indy so Im pushing to sell my bike. Today I hit up Hartshorne park and got some Atlantic view shots but I want to go there and really explore soon.

Although a few dudes advised me not go out with my gear I still did. Just take my time and pray I dont fall!

Found this cool WWII bunker. There were 2 more right around me and even though they were cool, they were creepy looking inside.
